Weather The Week Ahead

Filed in Recent News by November 18, 2019

THE Upper Hunter is mainly clear with some smoke haze from surrounding fires.

Temperatures will be warming up this week, with temperatures in the mid to high 30s and a small dip in temperatures on Wednesday to the mid to low 30s.

At the moment the Bureau is not predicting temperatures in the 40’s, but that may change.

There is a trough developing inland which may bring some moisture from tropical areas in north-east Queensland into northern New South Wales and there is thee possibility of showers and thunderstorms over the weekend.

The Bureau encourage residents to keep an eye on the fire rating, which will be severe tomorrow across the Greater Hunter area and very high for more days this week.

Expected temperatures:

  • Monday: 11 – 32
  • Tuesday: 13 – 38
  • Wednesday: 15 – 32
  • Thursday: 14 – 39
  • Friday: 21 – 38
  • Saturday: 18 – 39
  • Sunday: 16 – 29
