Veteran’s Golf Report: September 24

A beautiful day and a greening golf course greeted the 22 Vets who played a stableford event at Denman on Tuesday, September 24.

Kevin Warby did best with 40 points from Gary Gray 35 (including an excellent birdie 3 on the 8^th for 5 points), visitor Derek Wynn C/B (gaining a ball), Ross Banks 3^{rd C/B} and Les Brown 4^th 34.

Best wishes to Secretary Graham Guest for a quick recovery from illness.

Balls went to Captain Phil Ledgerwood 33, and on 32 Gary Ashmead, Graham Boles and Des Partridge.

The Bradman’s Trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by Rabbitoh Lindsay Hodge
