Veteran’s Golf: July 30

The 12 Vets who played a stableford Medal event at Murrurundi Gold Club (The Wonderful World of Wombats) on Tuesday, July 30, greatly missed Bob Thorley. We hope you are back playing with us soon Bob. Thanks for the pies for lunch John Norman.

Terry Mitchell did best with 34 points from Milton Reid 2^nd 33 and 3^rd Howie Lane 31 C/B.

Balls went to Peter Leehy 31, John Norman and Elie Raad 29 and Treasurer Bob Minch 28.

Nearest the Pins: 3^rd/12^th Elie Raad  6^th/15^th and 9^th/`18^th Terry Mitchell plus a new NTP for the first time – second shot on the 4^th won by Howie Lane.

The Bradman’s trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley was won by Bruce Robinson.

Next Weeks:

• August 6 at Muswellbrook, the first round of our Championships with HIT-OFF BY 9.00 AM;
• August 13 at SCONE, the second and final round of our Championships costing exactly $15 (correct money please) with the UHVGA subsidising the prizes.
