Festival of the Fleeces – Running of the Sheep

  • What: Festival of the Fleeces parade, with sheep running down the main street in red socks.
  • When: 12 noon, Saturday, June 8.
  • Where: Bettington Street, Merriwa.

Sunday

Festival of the Fleeces – Bush Poet’s Breakfast

  • What: A walk up bush poets competition with a prize of $500.
  • When: 8am – 11am, Sunday, June 9.
  • Where: CWA Hall, 191 Bettington Street, Merriwa.
  • Cost: $5 at the door + $5 for breakfast.

 Scone Films presents Top End Wedding

  • What: An Australian romantic comedy Engaged and in love Lauren and Ned have just 10 days to reunite her newly separated parents and pull off their dream Top End Wedding.
  • When: 2:30pm, Sunday, June 9, 2019.
  • Where: Scone Senior Citizen’s Hall, Crn Cooper and Oxford Road, Scone.
  • Tickets: $12 at Scone Films, Hunt-A-Book or at the door.
  • Afternoon tea: $5
