Gala Cricket Day

PLAYING backyard cricket on Christmas and Boxing Day is an Australian tradition and in Scone on Australia Day the cricket gala day has become a community tradition.

This year the gala day will be held again and everyone is welcome.

Teams of seven all get the chance to bat and six on the team bowl.

The day is sponsored by Scone RSL Club, prizes will be given and the canteen will be open.

Please note there is not glass permitted at the sporting complex.

• When: 8am for 9am start, Saturday, January 26.
• Where: Bill Rose Sports Complex, Kingdon Street, Scone.
