Swimming Pool Near Drowning
ON Christmas Day at approximately 6:30pm a 51 year old Scone man was found face down and unconscious in a private swimming pool.
He was pulled from the pool by a relative and the ambulance was called.
It was estimated the man was submerged for more than a minute and was semiconscious when the ambulance arrived.
The man was taken to the Scott Memorial Hospital in Scone where he received further treatment and was conveyed to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
He was placed in a medically induced coma for the flight to the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle and is described as being in a stable but serious condition.
