SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

MACINTYRE CUP – Polo Tournament

• What: The polo tournament is played over two days, with the final for the Macintyre Cup played on Sunday. See related story: Fun Sport with a Proud History.
• When: Saturday, September 22. Games begin at 11am and the last game is played at 3pm.
• Where: Scone Polo Fields, Waverley Road, Gundy. Directions: Turn off Gundy Road, into Waverley Road, cross a small bridge and the polo fields are on the right.
• Cost: Free. A coffee cart is on ground and lunch is available.

SCONE SHORT FILM FESTIVAL – Red Carpet

• What: Eight short Australian films ranging from four to fifteen minutes in duration and covering animation, drama, comedy and even a music video.
• When: 6:30pm, Saturday, September 22.
• Where: Scone Senior Citizen’s Centre, Crn Oxford Road and Cooper Street, Scone.
• Cost: $30. Wine and supper will be served.

FAMILY BASSIN – Fishing Tournament

• What: Family fishing tournament competition – Round 6.
  
• When: Begins 12pm, Saturday, September 22 and finishes 12pm, Sunday, September 23.
• Where: Glenbawn Dam, Glenbawn Road, Glenbawn.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23

SCONE SHORT FILM FESTIVAL – Encore Screening

• What: Eight short Australian films ranging from four to fifteen minutes in duration and covering animation, drama, comedy and even a music video.
• When: 10:30am, Sunday, September 23.
• Where: Scone Senior Citizen’s Centre, Crn Oxford Road and Cooper Street, Scone.
• Cost: $15. Morning tea is served for an additional $5.
