Get Cracking for Cheese Course
FETA, camembert, cream cheese, mascarpone, ricotta, greek yogurt and labnah…all delicious, all able to be made at home and the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre will show you how.
Lee Watts, manager of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre said food brings people together and what better way to do it than with cheese.
“It’s a simple process people can do at home and we thought it would be a great idea for a workshop,” said Mrs Watts.
“Leonie Taylor from New England Community College will provide all the equipment and ingredients needed to teach you how to make soft cheeses,” she said.
“They will give you know how, hands on cheese making, course notes, morning tea, a take home goodie bag and howto care for soft cheese when you get it home,” she said.
“And it’s the perfect accompaniment with a glass of wine at the end of the day,” Lee Watts said.
