It was a bit cool in the morning but the day was sunny, pity there’s no rain for the farmers, for the 19 Vets who played a stableford event at Muswellbrook on Tuesday, May 15.
It was a good warm-up game for our trip to Henbury on Thursday.
The winner with 41 points was Bob Lawman, second was Rod Upton 37 and third was Rod Auld 36.
Balls went to Mick Harker, Charlie Manning and Gary Morley 35, Captain Phil Ledgerwood and Wayne Murphy 33 and Secretary Graham Guest, Jeff McKeon and Treasurer Bob Minch 30.
The Bradman trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley, was won by George T Smith.
