Scone Golf Report and Presentation: Oct 19-23

A good field of Scone lady golfers played at Muswellbrook on Thursday October 19, Jo Brown had the best score of the lady players with a round of 34 points.

The men players visited four local clubs on Saturday October 21 and enjoyed the company of members at Denman, Aberdeen, Muswellbrook and Murrurundi.

The Hunter River District ladies Champions, Golf NSW Medal and District Medal playoff day was held at Muswellbrook on Monday October 23.

Six Scone players had qualified and played in pleasant conditions but found the course more difficult after the recent rain.

Pam Manning had a successful day winning Division 2 Champion of Champions playoff.

A lovely evening was enjoyed by a good crowd at the Scone Golf Club Annual Presentation Night on Saturday October 21.

A fine array of polished trophies were presented to the recipients, along with their prizes.

Congratulations to all the winners and appreciation is extended to all the trophy donors.
