New Bike Park for Scone

LEE Watts, manager of the Scone Neighbourhhod Centre said she was excited to announce that Amaroo Park. located in Lang Place, will soon become a bike park following the funding from the state government.

“Currently the park has swings, a BBQ and an abundance of open space, ideal for a bike park,” said Mrs Watts.

“It will be another great location for children to safely ride their bikes and also learn about road safety,” she said.

“I am keen to hear what local families in the area think would make it a great bike park,” Lee Watts said.

A total of $39,732 was granted for the design and build of the park, with Council to maintain the bike track as their existing responsibility for Amaroo Park.
