Celebrating Local Educators

ON Sunday St Luke’s Church in Scone will be holding a service to celebrate education.

“So many people give their time to teach others, pre-schools, day care, schools, TAFE, music, adult education to name a few and we would like to take the opportunity to give thanks for their dedication and celebrate their success,” said Margaret Wicks.

“This is an ecumenical service with contemporary music and local school students and Scone Singers will be participating,” she said.

“A hot supper will be served after the service,” Ms Wicks said.

The service will be held at 5pm on Sunday, July 30 at St Luke’s Anglican Church, 79 Hill Street, Scone.
