Veteran’s Golf: April 11

Sunny skies and a drying golf course greeted the 27 Vets who played their stableford event at Scone on Tuesday, April 11.

“Thank you” for the trimmed fairways we all say to the Scone maintenance volunteers.

Mike at the bar and the wonderful caterers always make us so welcome.

Welcome to visitor Russell Nicholls and get well soon John Norman following a triple by-pass.

Ken Thornton did best with 40 points from 3 players on 37: Graham Huggins, President Phil Ledgerwood and Treasurer Bob Minch.

Balls went to Russell Nicholls 38, Di Thorley, Jeff McKeon and Debbie Squires 36, Jim Elder, Bob Thorley, Wayne Murphy and Peter Daunton 35 and Tommy Thompson and Rod Upton 34.
