Police Update: March 20
ON Saturday at approximately 3:30pm police were called to an alleged assault of a 24 year old male at the Scone railway station.
Three unknown males spoke to the victim on the platform of the train station and asked him to go to the car park where a fourth male wanted to speak with him.
Before he reached the car park he was punched on the left side of his jaw and sustained a small laceration to the right side of his abdomen, but did not see what cut him.
The fourth male got into a white Toyota dual cab Hilux with a flat metal back and was last seen travelling north on the New England Highway.
The victim ran to his home in Scone, where police attended and ambulance treated his injuries.
He was taken to the Scott Memorial Hospital where he was cleared of any serious injury.
