At approximately 11:25am yesterday a green sedan was travelling south in the New England Highway and crossed the double unbroken lines approximately 100 metres south of the Turanville Road intersection.
The green sedan collided with a red Holden Colorado which was towing a horse float and travelling north on the Highway.
The sedan first collided with the rear offside of the Colarado, then the front offside of the horse float.
The green sedan then lost control, sliding off the western side off the highway and collided with a sign before coming to a stop.
The Colorado also lost control and slid sideways before coming to stop facing east, with the front of the car blocking the northbound land and detaching the horse float which rolled onto its side.
The three occupants of the sedan, the driver of the Colorado and the horses were uninjured.
