Prepare to be Pampered
SENIORS can enjoy being treated to a new hair style, a massage or a manicure at the Scone Bowling Club next month thanks to the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre and local businesses.
Lee Watts, manager of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre said the pampering was to celebrate seniors week which beings on Friday, March 3 and goes slightly more than a week until Sunday, March 12.
“We are very excited to offer senior members in this community a little pampering during seniors week,” said Mrs Watts.
“The Scone Neighbourhood Centre are working in partnership with local businesses Locks Hair Salon, Rachel’s Hair and Beauty, Karen; for Feet, Boutique Beauty by Sherryn and 3Massage who are volunteering their time to give some special treatments on the day,” she said.
“Seniors can enjoy a cut and or blow dry, sitting massage, manicure and polish and or pedicure,” Lee Watts said.
TransCare will also have an expo of services services for senior citizens at the Bowling Club.
