Holiday Leaps and Bounds

SCONE Gymnastic Club held a gymnastic camp at the Scone Youth Centre during the last two days.

The camp was well attended according to Council’s sports participation officer Nicole Western.

“A lot of kids who come to these sessions are not at the regular classes, it’s good to see so many kids want to come long, it is also good to see so many boys come along” said Nicky Western.

The camp will move to Murrurundi later this month where the Council is subsidising the camp to be held at the local public school.

“It is great that the Murrurundi Public School are letting us use their equipment so that local kids can try out gymnastics” Nicky Western said.

The camp in Murrurundi will be held on January 23 and 24.
