Orky to Appear in Scone

ORKY the lake monster will be appearing in Scone Park on Saturday with his star performance in the movie Magic in the Water.

Lee Watts, manager of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre, said she hoped families will enjoy meeting the monster on the large outdoor movie screen.

The movie Magic in the Water will screen on Saturday in Scone.

“Orky the local lake monster can be seen under the stars on the six metre cinema at Scone Park on Saturday, January 14,” said Mrs Watts.

“The monster may help two children get closer to their dad while stopping local polluters who are dumping toxic waste into Orky’s home,” she said.

“This is a family friendly night with the movie kicking off at dark around 8.00pm,” she said.

“Bring a bean bag, blanket or chair and enjoy the movie under the stars,” Lee Watts said.

Entry is $15 for a family of four and $5 for a single pass payable on entry and snacks will be available on site.
