Landcare Christmas BBQ

MERRIWA Landcare is taking time to celebrate Christmas, but is already preparing for a packed year in 2017, beginning with a native seed collection, identification and propagation workshop.

At the BBQ on Tuesday, Paul Melehan from Hunter TAFE will be there to talk about the native seed course and enrollments will be taken.

Other courses on offer next year will include a native bee workshop, a biodiversity forum and there are plans to develop a local native seed bank.
