Santa in Town Next Week

SANTA will be in Scone next week and available for photo opportunities.

Lee Watts, manager of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre said she was excited Santa had agreed to make time again this year for local children.

“Santa well understands the time pressures around Christmas for families, so instead of families having to travel out of town to get photographs he will come to Scone,” said Mrs Watts.

“Considering he is the busiest person of the season it is quite a coup for us to get him to visit, so hopefully local people will make the time to come and have a photograph,” she said.

“Peter and Trish Townsend have very generously donated the use of the premises at 152 Kelly Street for Santa and staff will be busily preparing the shop to take on a Christmas theme,” she said.

Santa will be available for photos at the following times:

• 4pm-5:30pm, Tuesday, December 6;
• 4pm-5:30pm, Wednesday, December 7;
• 10am – 11:30am, Friday, December 9;
• 10am – 11:30am and 4pm – 5:30pm, Tuesday, December 13;
• 10am – 11:30am and 4pm – 5:30pm, Thursday, December 15, and
• 10am – 11:30am and 4pm – 5:30pm, Friday, December 16.

Prices for photos start at $5 for an emailed image to printed packs worth $15.
