The New Councillors Are…

THE final results for the 2016 Upper Hunter Shire Council election have been posted by the NSW Electoral Commission.

The nine new Councillors, in order of election are:

1. Lee Watts
2. Maurice Collison
3. Wayne Bedggood
4. James Burns
5. Ron Campbell
6. Sue Abbott
7. Kiwa Fisher
8. Lorna Driscoll
9. Josh Brown

Former Councillor Deirdre Peebles did not receive enough votes to be re-elected and new candidates Liam Garment, Arthur Wright and Debra Haydon also did not gain a spot.
