Police Update: August 29
GLENBAWN BREAK IN
Between 3:30pm Friday and 6:45am Monday the caravan park workshop at Brushy Hill Road, Glenbawn Dam was broken into and a two way radio and access card for the boom gates of the caravan park were stolen.
Entry was gained through a closed but unlocked ground floor entry at the rear of the workshop and gone though staff lockers and stole the two way radio.
The access card was stolen from a white Ford econovan and the ashtray of the vehicle was pulled out nad left on the seat.
DIRT BIKES STOLEN
TWO dirt bikes were stolen from inside a stable at the Scone Racetrack on Bunnan Road, Scone between the hours of 7pm on Friday to 8:45am on Saturday.
One was a white and blue Huskvana 2015 model and another was a green Kawasaki KX450 model.
DIESEL SPILL ON HIGHWAY
On Thursday morning a truck travelling south on the New England Highway police believe leaked diesel from a defective diesel tank between Scone and Muswellbrook.
At approximately 9:15am the driver of a white Toyota camry, also travelling south, lost control of the car on a bend known as Halcombe Hill and impacted with the guard rail.

Two other vehicles also lost traction on the same area of road and collided.
The driver of the Isuzu truck was unaware of the leak and ran out of diesel opposite the Hunter Bell Cheese Factory at the northern entrance to Muswellbrook.
Four sweeper vehicles attended the scene and cleaned the spill covering a distance of approximately 14 kilometres.
