Tent Pegging Results
TENT peggers are a fairly close bunch of people from all over Australia who travel far and wide to compete against each other.
As part of the 2016 Scone and Upper Hunter Horse festival the Australian Tent Pegging Association held a round of the Australian Championships at White Park on the weekend.
Teams from Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales attended the event which finished on Sunday afternoon.
All ages participate in the sport with a good representation of juniors, A, B and C Grades in individual, paired and team formats.
At the award presentation Bryson Roser of Tamworth thanked the officials for their efforts and all the competitors for travelling the distance to attend the event.
Bryson Roser was the overall A grade individual champion for the event and has represented Australia overseas several times in his chosen sport.
The overall teams championship winner was the City Cowboys who travelled from Brisbane for the event.
