The Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre and the Scone Library invite you to have dinner with them to celebrate Harmony Day and enjoy some deliciously diverse cuisine.
ON Saturday at approximately 3:30pm police were called to an alleged assault of a 24 year old male at the Scone railway station.
IT was a steamy and very hot day on Thursday March 16 when the Scone lady golfers played an 18 Hole two Ball and Individual Stableford for Judy Carmody and Narelle Rutter’s Trophy.
THE Upper Hunter District Cricket Association had their A and B grade grandfinals during the weekend,
MORE than 500 children from Tamworth and the Upper Hunter enjoyed playing a game of rugby league on Sunday in Scone, as part of the Group 21 competition.

Jamie Munn from Scone Junior Rugby League said it was great to see so many children trying the sport.
“It is a way great way to kick off the footy year, we had great weather and great volunteers,” said Mr Munn.
“The Lion’s Club cooked the sausages and the Men of League helped in the canteen for us as well, the referees, everyone pitched in and made it a great day,” he said.
“And the day is a way that any girl or boy can try rugby league without trying to sign up to a full season,” Jamie Munn said.
ORGANISERS are expecting between 500 and 600 school children from Tamworth and the Upper Hunter area at tomorrow’s Group 21 rugby league in Scone.
THE Bureau of Meteorology has said Scone should be spared the storm activity which may occur towards the coast this evening,
THE Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre would like to remind people to let them know what they are cooking up for Harmony Day on Tuesday.
