THE medical crew of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter crew don’t think it was a funnel web spider which bit a 10 year old boy at Stewarts Brook this morning.
The child has been transported from the remote property to the John Hunter Hospital for further observation, but has not shown any signs or symptoms of being bitten.
The child had been playing in the bush when he brushed the spider off his arm, which possibly bit him in the process.
