Speaking From the Heart
Dr Ross Walker, cardiologist and best selling author of seven books, will be the final speaker for the Virtual Men’s Shed on Friday, March 23.
Belinda McKenzie, project officer for the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre, said the whole community would enjoy listening to the world renowned speaker.
“We are excited to bring Dr Ross Walker to the Upper Hunter as our final guest speaker and we invite all residents in the Upper Hunter to book,” said Ms McKenzie.
“After eight years we believe Dr Walker is the perfect guest speaker to ensure the project goes out with a ‘bang’ as funding for the project has been discontinued after March,” she said.
“The evening will also be a way to acknowledge the unwaving support from the Scone Men’s Shed, Aberdeen Men’s Shed and Merriwa Men’s Shed and the many men that attended all our activities over the eight years.
