Police Update: Feb 22
A resident of Shaw Street, Scone had her wallet stolen from her kitchen bench while she was at home on Friday morning.
The lady had placed her wallet on the kitchen bench at approximately 11am and went out the front of her home to clean her car.
She thought she heard a noise inside the house but disregarded it.
At 11:30am she returned to spend the rest of the afternoon inside, cleaning her home and did not realise her wallet had been stolen.
The rear doors of her home were closed but not locked.
TRAIN VANDALISED
ON Saturday at approximately 8:10pm four males, possibly of Caucasian appearance and aged between 16 and 19 years of age graffitied a train while it was stopped at the Scone railway station.
The four males were all wearing dark coloured balaclavas or face coverings.
One wearing a maroon coloured shirt, while the other three wore dark shirts.
The rail staff saw the vandals and alerted police.
Realising they had been spotted by rail staff, they ran south along the train track and jumped a fence on the western side of the line, running towards Guernsey Street.
