THE late John Arthur Clift received an Order of Australia for his service to the thoroughbred horse breeding industry and racing industries and to the community.
The late Dr Bronwyn Helen Stokes of Merriwa also received an Order of Australia for her services to medicine in regional New South Wales.
People who have passed away may still be awarded and Order of Australia if they were nominated when they were alive.
Mr Clift was nominated on January 20, 2016 and Dr Stokes was nominated on August 19, 2015.
