Hutchinson Without Lawyer
CATE Hutchinson appeared in Tamworth court in relation to a charge of murder for her missing daughter Leonie Hutchinson, but the matter was adjourned until July 13, because she did not have legal representation.
Ms Hutchinson claimed she had submitted a legal aid application, but it had not been processed.
Magistrate Prowse told Ms Hutchinson to do everything in her power to secure legal representation adding, “you ought to, because it’s in everyone’s interest.”
The Magistrate asked if the brief was complete and the prosecution confirmed it was.
Bail will continue, which was unopposed by the prosecution.
