Highway Closed at Wingen

THE New England Highway is blocked in both directions approximately 500 metres south of Wingen, neat the Durham Hotel, following an accident between two cars at approximately 9:30am.

Emergency services are working to release people from one of the vehicles and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter has been called.

Traffic diversion have not been put in place and people are asked to delay travel in the area.
