Garden Club Cheers Omadale

LAST month we had a great day at Tilse’s Orchard, kindly hosted by Brian and Steve Tilse.

It was a tour and informative guide of the Orchard with practical tips from pruning to growing to pest management of apples for our district and the history of the family business.

We enjoyed the comfortable surroundings of the lodge and wine and cider tasting ensued!

What great local produce.

This month we celebrate Christmas in July on July 20 at Carmen’s Restaurant in Muswellbrook.

At the meeting, Del Smith, one of the founding members, will be the Guest of Honour and be presented with “Garden Clubs of Australia Ann Williams Clark Medallion” for her outstanding service to our Club.
