Westpac called for accident at Jerrys Plains

AT approximately 7:15 this morning the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called in response to a three vehicle accident between a car, a ute and a mobile crane at Jerrys Plains.

NSW Ambulance treated a 45 year old man, who was the driver of the ute, for serious head injuries after he was ejected from the vehicle.

He was transferred to the Singleton Hospital where they were met by the Helicopter’s Critical Care Medical Team.

The man was stabilised and flown to the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle in a serious condition, for further treatment.
