Filed in Just In by August 2, 2021

SCONE experienced its warmest winter day for 2021 over the weekend, with temperatures reaching a 23.9 degrees on Saturday.

An overnight trough has created cooler temperatures this morning, with another trough expected to approach from the west later today.

Showers are likely to develop tonight and persist into tomorrow, with Scone predicted to receive between five and ten millimetres.

A brisk westerly airstream will follow from the trough on Wednesday, creating reasonably cool temperatures and windy conditions in the Upper Hunter.

The Glenbawn Dam level is currently sitting at 62.5 percent capacity, a 0.4 percent increase since last week.

A maximum temperature of 21 today in Scone.
