Weather: The week ahead

SUNNY conditions and a top of 23 degrees in Scone today, with showers predicted from tomorrow through to Thursday, clearing just in time for the Scone Race Day on Friday.

Rainfall is expected to arrive midday tomorrow, with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms in the Upper Hunter.

Wednesday and Thursday will see continued rainfall, as the cold front changes from a south westerly direction to south east.

Partly cloudy conditions and morning fog is expected from Friday onwards, with tops of 18 degrees on the weekend.

Glenbawn Dam is currently sitting at 56.9 percent capacity, a 0.2 percent increase since last week.
