Thirty-three veterans came to play a stableford event for Christmas prizes at Muswellbrook Golf Club on Tuesday, December 5, despite the cloudy skies. It didn’t rain and everyone enjoyed the delightful course and some tricky pin positions. Thank you Phil for your excellent shot-gun starts.

Debbie Squires did best, not just among the six ladies, to win with 41 points on a count-back from Brian Payton and both received gift cards. Third was Captain Phil Ledgerwood 40 for a pudding, 4th was Gary Gray 38 for a cake and 5th was President Bruce Robinson 36 for a gift card.

Balls went to Les Brown, Terry Mitchell, Elie Raad and Ross Banks 35, Brian Dever and Andy Medway 34, Lindsay Hodge and Rod Auld 33 and on 32 Graham Huggins, Lyn Banks, Graham Guest, Les Cuttriss, Jock O’Connor and Jim Elder.

The Bradman trophy, kindly donated by Gary Morley, was won by Bob Keating.
