Upper Hunter 48 hour rainfall totals

Filed in Just In by January 29, 2021

THE Upper Hunter has experienced fairly consistent rainfall during the past 48 hours, with more rain and possible thunderstorms predicted this afternoon.

A trough extending from South Australia to New South wales, coupled with a system from the east of the Tasman Sea has created unsettling conditions in the state.

Despite rainfall, temperatures will remain high for the remainder of the week, with tops of 31 degrees due to the air moisture.

The Glenbawn dam is at 49.7 percent capacity as of Thursday, January 28 2021.
