Traffic Delays for Bypass

WORK on the northern end of the bypass will disrupt traffic on the New England Highway, commencing this week and finishing on October 5. 

Traffic from the highway will be diverted to a new section of Kelly Street near Makybe Diva Street, as the new road surface is built and storm water pipes are laid.

The work will mainly be conducted on Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm and on Saturdays from 8am and 1pm, with occasional work at night between 6pm and 7am from today until Saturday, October 5.

Electronic message boards and barriers will be in place to ensure safety for workers and road users.
