THE Upper Hunter has had a nice week of steady rainfall, with another chance of  showers and thunderstorms this weekend.

Showers and possible thunderstorms are predicted to recommence tonight, due to a build up of moisture across north east New South Wales, combined with two inland and coastal troughs, creating unsettling conditions.

The Glenbawn Dam catchment is now sitting at 46.4 percent capacity.

  • Bunnan: 51.0mm
  • Cassilis: 54.0mm
  • Cressfield: 16.0mm
  • Ellerston: 22.0mm
  • Glenbawn: 33.8mm
  • Hunter Springs: 25.6mm
  • Kars Springs: 31.8mm
  • Merriwa: 57.4mm
  • Middlebrook: 190mm (from Friday to Wednesday)
  • Moonan Flat: 13.6mm
  • Mount Barrington Lookout: 91.0mm
  • Murrurundi: up to 160mm (from Friday to Wednesday)
  • Parkville: 19.2mm
  • Scone: 20mm
  • Stoney Creek: 28mm
  • Upper Rouchel: 18.4mm
