Quick turn around for Westpac in Scone

IT was a quick takeoff and landing today for the Westpac rescue helicopter at the Scott Memorial Hospital in Scone.

The mission didn’t involve patients today, it was the Tamworth chopper dropping off critical parts for the Newcastle based chopper.

By flying the parts to Scone it keeps the Tamworth chopper in area and ready to respond.

The parts for the chopper will now be driven to Newcastle.
