Missing Teenage Boy in The Hunter

POLICE are appealing for public assistance to help locate Andrei Timis, a 15-year-old boy who has been missing since 9:30am today, August 31.

UPDATE: Police have located the teenager safe and well at a Sydney hospital overnight. Police thanked the media and the community for their assistance.

Andrei is described as a thinly built Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall, with shoulder length brown hair.

He was last seen leaving the John Hunter Hospital in New Lambton Heights wearing a black hooded jumper and light denim jeans with no shoes on.

Officers from Newcastle City Police District were contacted shortly after his disappearance and have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and his family hold grave concerns for his welfare.

Andrei is known to have connections with Muswellbrook and Sydney and may have travelled to either of these locations.
