Marge The Rains Are Here!

THERE is a high chance of widespread rainfall for the Upper Hunter this weekend, with a 76 per cent chance of rain in Scone on Friday night.

South westerly winds will create a 70-80 per cent chance of rain for the whole Upper Hunter which is set to receive at least 5-10ml on Friday and Saturday and a further 20-30mls on Monday and Tuesday.

On Sunday the rainfall will focus on the Nothern rivers and another low pressure system will develop off the coast, pushing more rainfall towards the Upper Hunter next week.

Cool air in the atmosphere will head North however, it is unlikely temperatures will be cold enough for snowfall at the Barrington Tops over the weekend.
