Man charged for threatening with a gun

AT 5:30 this afternoon police were called to Jersey Place, Muswellbrook following reports of a 38 year old man allegedly pointing a gun at another man following an argument and also verbally threatening a woman.

Police found a gel blaster and arrested the man on charges of possess unauthorised pistol, armed with intent commit indictable offence, and two counts stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm.

While at the Muswellbrook Police Station he allegedly made threats towards a police officer and was charged with intimidate police officer in execution of duty.

The man appeared in Singleton local court this afternoon, was given strict bail conditions and will appear in Muswellbrook Local Court on Monday, September 27.
