THE Inglis Scone Cup Calcutta last night was attended by more than 130 people at the Scone Sporties.

There were $4,460 worth of ticket sales and the first prize winner today will receive $4,746, second prize will receive $1,582 and third prize will receive $791.
Johnathan D’Arcy, bloodstock manager for Inglis, said he thinks the Cup will be a tough race.
“It’s very even field, last year’s winner Tales of Grimm will be high in calculations, the favourite currently is High Midnight who has the form behind him and I think it as strong a Cup field as we have seen,” said Mr D’Arcy.
“It’s a wide open betting race and it’s obviously great weather at the moment, so I’m sure it will be a great day out for all of the locals enjoying their half-day holiday,” he said.
