Filed in Just In by April 25, 2020

WHILE ANZAC Day services have been cancelled this year, a few of the Gundy ANZAC Day committee and a sprinkling of locals laid wreaths at the Gundy Hall.

A minutes silence was observed for WWII veteran Jack Flaherty, who passed away aged in December, aged 98. (Video: Jack Tells Some of His Story)

The last post was played by Chris Lavis, the Ode was read by John Wharton and Wayne Saunders finished the small remembrance with the bagpipes.

People are welcome to lay wreaths and pay their respects throughout the day.
