Heavy rain during Thursday and Friday impacted severely on the golf course playability on Saturday November 13 at Scone with no carts being permitted. Consequently, the field was much smaller than usual for the playing of the 18 Hole Stableford sponsored by Col Solway.

In overcast conditions on Thursday, November 11 the lady golfers cautiously headed out but completed 18 holes without being wet. Sponsor of the day’s 18 Hole Stableford was Louise Mathews and she returned the best score of the day with 38 points. Kerry McLennan with 37 points was the fortunate winner as Louise kindly re-donated her prize. After these two scores the rest of the field struggled with balls also going to Lyn Banks, Vonnie Palmer 31 and Sue Williams 28 points on a countback from Joan Faras.
