Free movie in Scone tonight

AT 7pm tonight, the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre (SNRC) is showing a free movie ‘Here Comes the Grump’ at Scone Park.

The family friendly PG movie will be showcased on a six metre inflatable screen, with refreshments available to purchase onsite.

SNRC Manager Lee Watts encourages attendees to bring their own snacks, drinks, blankets, beanbags and lawn chairs to “sit back and enjoy the film.”

“This will be a really great night for the community to come together and enjoy a free movie under the stars,” said Ms Watts.

“The Neighbourhood Centre is so happy to be able to host this event, especially after Christmas in the Park was cancelled, due to COVID-19,” she said.

“We would like to thank Community Underwriting for partnering with our service to make this possible.”
