Santa Continues Run

SANTA is taking to the streets again today on a fire truck to visit the children of Scone from 6pm tonight.

Stuart Daniels, deputy captain of the Kingdon Ponds Rural Bushfire Service said Santa would begin his rounds on Sunday and finish on Christmas Eve in Cook Street.

“It is great to get out in the community and see kids running out of their houses excited to see Santa and the parents are pretty happy too,” he said.

The Santa run is the main fundraiser for the Kingdon Ponds Rural Bush Fire Service and donations are appreciated.

“It is enough to keep us going throughout the year,” said Mr Daniels.

Listen out for the sirens and go and say hi to Santa.
