THE Scone Netball Opens Representative Team is today recovering after three grueling days of netball at the NSW Netball State Championships.
Open Women’s State Representatives: Back: Sarah Giblin, Hannah Purcell, Rawinia Wilson, Ally Luck and Alice Read. Front: Maddy Adams, Jemma Gunn, Meg Huber and Peter Lawrence.
The Opens Team is the only Scone team playing in the Championship Division and their competition includes the likes of Manly Warringah, Randwick and Ku-ring-ga.
The team played 20 games over the three days and finished in 15th position winning six games and losing four by only one goal.
Everyone had a great weekend and gave 150 percent.
It is a great result for our small association.
